Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel is produced through a process in which molten zinc reacts with the iron substrate to form a metallurgical alloy layer, allowing the coating and the base steel to bond firmly together. This process improves corrosion resistance and significantly extends the service life of steel products.

Before hot-dip galvanizing, steel or iron components are first pickled to remove iron oxide and surface impurities. After pickling, the material is cleaned using ammonium chloride solution, zinc chloride solution, or a mixed flux solution, and then immersed in a molten zinc bath. During this process, a dense and uniform zinc coating forms on the steel surface.

Hot-dip galvanizing offers many advantages, including uniform coating thickness, strong adhesion, long-lasting durability, and excellent corrosion protection. Compared with other metal protection methods, it combines physical barrier protection with electrochemical protection while also providing good coating compactness, low maintenance requirements, economic efficiency, and adaptability to products of various shapes and sizes.
